Cleveland Cavaliers big man Kevin Love has consistently been doing his part to help others in relation to the novel coronavirus pandemic, and Love initially donated $100,000 through his fund to help compensate Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse employees/game event staff that were affected by the NBA’s season suspension.
That started an amazing trend among other NBA players, who then aided their home arenas’ employees/game event staff in a similar way, given the league’s hiatus.
It is clear that Love has backed up what he said last month as far as coming to the aid of others during such a difficult time, in terms of athletes being “community leaders” in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
