Continuing on their #AllForOhio preseason tour, the Cleveland Cavaliers were in Columbus on Sunday evening to host local students for a private basketball clinic. The fun event was in advance of the team playing the Memphis Grizzlies at The Schottenstein Center on Monday night.
Cavs assistant coaches Bret Brielmaier and Phil Handy led 70 boys and girls ages 10-14 through a fundamental skills clinic at Eldon & Elsie Ward Family YMCA.
The young participants were visibly excited for the opportunity to learn from players Matthew Dellavedova, Joe Harris, Quinn Cook, Jared Cunningham, Austin Daye, Chris Johnson, Nick Minnerath and DJ Stephens – who were all at the local Y to lend a hand.
