Cavs, GM Koby Altman Agree to Long-Term Extension

It’s not been an easy road for the Cavs to try and revamp the roster since the loss of LeBron James last July, but in the eyes of owner Dan Gilbert, general manager Koby Altman has done enough to earn a long-term extension.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported the deal Friday morning, reminding all that Altman is the “first GM of the Dan Gilbert ownership era to receive an extension.”

The Cavs GM has had to rebuild much of the roster around Kevin Love, and last season was a struggle as the team went 19-63.
