High demand for the Beacon Journal’s Monday front page, “Won for all!” has prompted the newspaper to go back to the presses for 35,000 additional copies.
Many papers have sold out at news stands but remain available at the Beacon Journal, 44 E. Exchange Street in downtown Akron and shortly through the newspaper’s online store.
Even though the Beacon Journal Monday morning tripled the number of newspapers normally printed for sales at news stands — to about 23,000 — a temporary cap on five papers per person had to be imposed at the newspaper’s public service counter.
