Going into his third season, Cleveland Cavaliers big Ante Zizic was seemingly set to be a nice reserve piece.
Zizic, though reported injuries to key bigs Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson had a bunch to do with it, put up solid numbers when he was in for Cleveland in 2018-19.
Zizic had 7.8 points and 5.4 rebounds in 18.3 minutes in 59 appearances for Cleveland last season, and had a solid PER of 16.2, as noted by Basketball Reference.
Again, coming into the 2019-20 season, Zizic seemed poised to be a solid piece for head coach John Beilein, but unfortunately, he reportedly had plantar fasciitis in his left foot, so he hasn’t been able to make an impact.
