ORLANDO, FLA.: It didn’t show up in the numbers right away, but Timofey Mozgov felt his season begin to turn last month when the Cavs played at the Charlotte Hornets. It was Mozgov’s first game back after missing time with a shoulder injury, and when he stepped back on the court, his surgically repaired right knee finally began to feel better.
Mozgov enters Tuesday’s game at the Boston Celtics coming off his finest performance of the season. He had 17 points and four rebounds against the Orlando Magic, but beyond that he began to move and look a little more like the Mozgov from last season.
