Cavs: Avery Johnson should be considered as next potential head coach

If the Cleveland Cavaliers didn’t have a boatload of injuries in their frontcourt in 2018-19, they probably would have been more competitive and won more games in the first half of the season, but those things happen. In the second half of the year, Cleveland hasn’t been blown out nearly as often, and youngsters Cedi Osman, Collin Sexton and Ante Zizic have played much better.

Much of the credit for the improvement of younger players in the season’s second half should go to the coaching staff, and in particular, Cavs head coach Larry Drew.
