The Cleveland Cavaliers and their Better Halves are hosting a “baby shower” at Monday’s game (April 11th vs. Atlanta, 7:00 p.m.) to benefit the Domestic Violence & Child Advocacy Center. Members of the Better Halves will be at each Quicken Loans Arena entrance collecting baby supplies and fans who donate will be entered to win player autographed items.
DVCAC provides programs and services to women, men, teens and children who are victims of abuse. The agency is in particular need of the following baby items:
- Diapers and pull-ups (sizes 5 and 6 specifically) and diaper cream
- Baby wipes
- Baby lotion
- Baby wash
- Wash cloths and towels
Gift cards to stores such as Target, WalMart, Costco and Home Depot, as well as Visa gift cards, are also welcomed.
