The Cleveland Cavaliers were not going to be making any splashes in free agency, and it’s turned out that they’ve been priced out of landing a rumored potential free agent target such as Doug McDermott, and they missed out on Reggie Bullock, among others.
That wasn’t surprising, but on the plus side, the Cavaliers did land a possible superstar down the road via the 2021 NBA Draft in Evan Mobley, and them trading for Ricky Rubio was a two thumbs up move.
