The Cleveland Cavaliers and Memphis Grizzlies have reportedly had no discussions about a trade involving center Marc Gasol.
According to ESPN.com's Zach Lowe, Gasol "makes a ton of sense" as a player for Cleveland to target in exchange for the Brooklyn Nets' 2018 first-round draft pick that the Cavs own.
No such talks have taken place, however, and Lowe noted that the Grizzlies "appear happy to stand pat."
At 30-21, the Cavs are just percentage points ahead of the Washington Wizards for the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference.
