Cavaliers Sign José Calderón

CLEVELAND, OH – The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed guard José Calderón, the team announced on Monday, July 10 from Cleveland Clinic Courts.

Calderón (6-3, 200) split last season between the Los Angeles Lakers and Atlanta Hawks, averaging 3.4 points, 1.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 13.1 minutes over 41 games (13 starts). He also appeared in six playoff contests with Atlanta, averaging 4.3 points, 1.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 12.5 minutes.

Entering his 13th NBA season, Calderón owns career averages of 9.6 points, 2.5 rebounds, 6.2 assists and a 3.9 assist-to-turnover ratio over 789 total games (559 starts) with the Toronto Raptors, Detroit Pistons, Dallas Mavericks, New York Knicks, Lakers and Hawks.
