Cavaliers, James Jones reportedly agree to one-year contract

The Cavaliers have agreed to a one-year, $1.5 million deal to re-sign veteran James Jones, according to a report by ESPN’s Brian Windhorst.

Jones played in 48 games last season and averaged 3.7 points. He shot 40 percent from the field and will be entering his 14th NBA season.

Jones has been a part of six consecutive Finals teams, along with LeBron James, with the Miami Heat and Cavaliers.

The reported contract is for the veteran league minimum.
