Cavaliers' Evan Mobley Ruled out vs. Magic After Suffering Ankle Injury

Cleveland Cavaliers rookie center Evan Mobley suffered a left ankle sprain against the Orlando Magic on Monday and was ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Mobley had six points on 3-of-3 shooting in 13 minutes at the time of his exit.

Mobley also missed time earlier this season after it was announced on Nov. 16 that he had suffered a right elbow sprain that was expected to sideline him for two to four weeks. Since making his return, he hasn't missed a step.

The third overall pick in the 2021 NBA draft, Mobley is off to a strong start and has established himself as one of the best first-year players in the league this season.
