The best teacher is experience, and for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2019-20 season, that will hold true arguably more than any other team in the NBA.
As you probably know, Cleveland is in the beginning stages of a full-rebuild, and their focus in the coming years seems to be on player development, and given how the Cavaliers have a bunch of expiring contract players next year, asset accumulation will seemingly be at the forefront for the organization, too.
Overall, I’d say the Cavs had a pretty good haul in the 2019 NBA Draft, and to recap, that involved them adding possibly their primary playmaker of the future in Darius Garland, likely a steady contributor and efficient rotational shooter in Dylan Windler, and a player that was a relatively-low-risk but possibly a very high-reward type in likely 2/3 (based on roster construction) in Kevin Porter Jr.
