After putting together an incredible comeback win two days ago, a second straight shocker was not in the cards for Cleveland on Wednesday night in Vegas as the Wine and Gold fell to Chicago, 91-73, at Cox Pavilion – dropping their first tournament game after going 1-2 in preliminary play.
In their previous victory, the Cavs trailed all afternoon before overcoming a 21-point deficit with just over five minutes to play – shutting out Milwaukee in overtime to stun the Bucks for their first win in the dessert. But the Cavaliers couldn’t get that same mojo going against a Bulls team that featured three starters notching 16 points apiece.
