CLEVELAND, Ohio -- LeBron James could become the greatest scorer in NBA playoff history in the next round, and if or when it happens former Cavaliers general manager Wayne Embry can say he called it way back when.
"I just said then he was destined for greatness," said Embry, 80, who ran the Cavs from 1986-99. "I didn't know where it was going to go but he's destined for greatness. Here he is challenging Kareem for being the all-time greatest scorer, but, you know, you could just see it coming back then."
Embry spoke to cleveland.com Sunday in Toronto, prior to the Cavs' Game 4 victory over the Raptors which completed a second-round sweep.
