The Cleveland Cavaliers are fully in player development mode now and likely will be in the next few seasons, and that means that they’ll need to acquire talent through general manager Koby Altman and the front office drafting well.
Cleveland appears to have hit well in the draft last year, as young guard Collin Sexton had a good start to his NBA career and hopefully he can keep improving under the teaching of head coach John Beilein and associate head coach J.B. Bickerstaff, among others.
For the 2019 NBA Draft at this point, the Cavaliers have the fifth and 26th overall selections, and we’ve touched on potential players they could target at those selections time and time again (and will continue to do so up until the draft on June 20), but what about the second round?
