Love suffered a concussion in their Game 2 loss after being elbowed in the head by Harrison Barnes while they were going for a rebound.
He participated in a portion of shootaround with the team this morning and was "optimistic" about his chances to play in the game, according to ESPN, but he has been unable to pass the league's concussion protocol.
Love is averaging just 11.0 points and 8.0 rebounds in the Finals on 37.5 percent shooting. He averaged 16.0 points and 9.9 rebounds during the regular season.
