Cavs Weekly: Recapping Tyronn Lue's First Week As Cleveland's Head Coach

It's been one week since the Cleveland Cavaliers fired head coach David Blatt and replaced him with Tyronn Lue, and he's already implemented several changes in the way the Cavs play. Lue's main focus has been getting Cleveland to play at a faster pace - saying the Cavs need to get in better shape - and getting Kevin Love more involved, both of which have led to wins. Let's get you up to speed with the week that was and the week ahead with our Cavs Weekly update:

Last Week:

Lue's first game as head coach came in the first ABC Saturday Night Primetime game of the season against the Chicago Bulls and the Cavs were throughly outplayed, losing 96-83 to Chicago.

Cleveland then wrapped up their four-game homestand by hosting the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday and Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, both of which Cleveland won while averaging 114.5 points per game. Love also led the Cavs in field goal attempts against the Suns, marking the first time that's happened this year.

What's Next?

The Cavs have a quick road trip to take on the Detroit Pistons on Friday before returning home to take on the San Antonio Spurs in their second straight primetime ABC Saturday night game.

Cleveland will hit the road again following their showdown against the Spurs, playing the Pacers in Indiana on Feb. 1 and Hornets in Charlotte on Feb. 3.

Injuries:

Reserve shooting guard Joe Harris is expected to miss another two months after having surgery on his right foot earlier in January.
