The Cleveland Cavaliers have had continued success under new head coach Tyronn Lue as they head into the All-Star break, going 7-3 in their 10 games under Lue. Let's get you up to speed with the week that was and the week ahead with our Cavs Weekly update:
Last Week:
Cleveland had a rough start to the week, having a five-game win streak snapped on the road in a 106-97 overtime loss to the Charlotte Hornets on Feb. 3, then returned home on Feb. 5 only to lose to the Boston Celtics 104-103 on a buzzer-beater from Avery Bradley.
However, the Cavs got back to their winning ways with a blowout victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Feb. 6, then beat the Sacramento Kings by 20 points on Feb. 8. Cleveland then capped the first half of their season with a 120-111 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
Kyrie Irving led the Cavs in scoring in four of their five games, and averaged a team-high 28.2 games over this stretch.
What's Next?
Cleveland won't return to action until Feb. 18 when they host the Chicago Bulls, then will visit the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday. Read more Cavs news in the Chat Sports iPhone and Android apps.
