Cavs Notebook: Cleveland Stretches Win Streak To Seven Games

The Cleveland Cavaliers are red-hot, riding a seven-game win-streak that is only one game short of matching a season high, and they don't appear to be slowing down anytime soon. Let's get you up to speed with the week that was and the week ahead with our Cavs Weekly update:

Last Week:

The Cavs kicked off a six-game road trip on Wednesday, pulling out a hard-fought 121-115 win over the Washington Wizards. After that, Cleveland reeled off two blowout wins over two of the league's worst teams, beating the Timberwolves 125-99 on Friday before cruising to an easy 95-85 win over the 76ers.

What's Next?

Cleveland hits the back end of their road trip against Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday before a massive showdown with the San Antonio Spurs next Thursday on TNT. They'll then finish the road trip on Friday against the Houston Rockets.

The Cavs then get to look forward to their second showdown with the Golden State Warriors, hosting the defending champs on Martin Luther King day.

Injuries:

Reserve shooting guard Joe Harris is expected to miss two-to-three months after having surgery on his right foot.

Point guard Kyrie Irving is playing, but still recovering from a fracture kneecap he suffered in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Expect him to sit out of one game of back-to-backs for the remainder of the season, meaning he'll likely miss their game against the Rockets.
