Tyronn Lue emerging as favorite for Cleveland Cavs coaching job

The Cleveland Cavs have started their interview process in earnest, with a host of potential candidates meeting with the team over the past week.

However, per Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, one interviewee may have the inside track to replace former head coach Mike Brown:

After playing 11 seasons in the NBA, Lue began working in the Boston Celtics front office in 2009 as the team's director of basketball development. He proceeded to take a job with the team as an assistant coach under then-head coach Doc Rivers before moving with Rivers to Los Angeles as a part of his coaching staff with the Clippers.

The Cleveland Cavs have also been tied to another Clippers assistant, Alvin Gentry, who also interviewed with the team earlier this week.

However, Lue could be emerging as a frontrunner for the job - at least relatively early on in the process.
