The Cleveland Cavs are all-in on the 2014-15 NBA season, and this next bit of news surrounding a potential trade scenario only serves to highlight that fact.
According to ESPN's Marc Stein, the Cavs are one of two contenders who are currently engaged in talks with the Minnesota Timberwolves regarding veteran swingman Corey Brewer:

As reported by Stein in an article on Sunday, "Minnesota is believed to be seeking future assets in exchange for Brewer as it tries to accelerate its rebuilding effort in the wake of trading star power forward Kevin Love to the Cavaliers in August."
Cleveland is likely looking at a Brewer trade as a way to increase their chemistry both on and off the court. Brewer played alongside Kevin Love in Minnesota, and the two are said to have built quite the working relationship during their time together in the Twin Cities.
The Cavs' main competition, the Houston Rockets, have coveted Brewer ever since last season. The veteran dropped 51 points on Houston late in the 2013-14 season, but Rockets officials indicate that they had registered interest Brewer even before that.
