Brooklyn grabbed a slim lead early in this one, but Cleveland stormed back to take control and led 59-47 at halftime. The Cavaliers continued to extend their lead in the second half, where they cruised to the easy victory.
Turning Point:
Cleveland opened the second quarter on an 18-2 run, turning a what was a five-point deficit into an 11-point lead. They never trailed again.

The Cavaliers shot 51.7 percent from behind the arc, while holding the Nets to just 25 percent. That gave Cleveland's offense a big boost they used to propel themselves to victory.
Cleveland MVP:
Seven Cavs scored in double figures - including all five starters - but J.R. Smith (17 points, 5/10 from long range) and Kyrie Irving (12 points, 10 assists) had their stars shine brighter than anyone else.
Brooklyn MVP:
Deron Williams stepped up for the Nets, but he didn't get much help from his teammates. He finished with 20 points and six assists.
