The Atlanta Hawks got off to a fast start at home and built a double-digit lead in the first quarter, but the Cleveland Cavaliers responded with a strong second quarter and tied the game 51-51 at halftime. The Cavs were able to then build a sizable lead and grabbed a double-digit lead of their own, then were able to hold off the Hawks' furious rally down the stretch for the victory.
Atlanta suffered another crushing loss in the fourth quarter when forward DeMarre Carroll went down with what looks like a serious knee injury. He has been the Hawks' primary defender on LeBron James all season and is Atlanta's leading scorer in the postseason.

With the game tied 63-63 in the third quarter, Cleveland reeled off a stunning 22-4 run to take total control of the game.
