Cleveland started strong and held a comfortable lead after the first quarter, but Milwaukee fought back and led 54-52 at halftime. They continued to play well in the third before the Cavs clawed their way back into the game. It was extremely tight throughout the final quarter, but Cleveland was able to pull away late to grab the win.
Turning Point:
Cleveland went on a 11-2 run coming out of a timeout with less than six minutes to play, turning a three point deficit into a six point lead.
Key Stat:
The Cavs were extremely efficient on offense again tonight, shooting 53.4 percent from the field. This team is starting to find their rhythm on that end of the floor, which is scary for the rest of the teams in the NBA.
Cleveland MVP:
LeBron James had an off night shooting the ball (6-15 from the field), but Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving were there to pick the team up. Love finished with another double-double (27 points, 10 rebounds), while Irving continued to dominate offensively (28 points, six assists). Oh, and LeBron still managed to finish with 26 points - thanks to some good foul shooting at the end of the game - and 10 assists.
Milwaukee MVP:
Jabari Parker had what could be his breakout game as a pro, dropping 22 points on 11-15 shooting while grabbing eight rebounds against one of the best teams in the league. Not bad for a rookie playing in his 19th career game.
