The Cleveland Cavaliers fed off of a frenzied home crowd at Quicken Loans Arena to take an early lead, and were able to maintain that throughout the first half. Golden State's shooting struggles continued as they shot just 34.9 percent from the field in the first 24 minutes, including just 20 percent from three-point range.
Biggest Surprise:
Cleveland's physical defense is obviously paying dividends and wearing down Golden State's frontline as the starting trio of Harrison Barnes, Draymond Green, and Andrew Bogut combined for just seven points and nine rebounds in the first half.
Cleveland Key Player:
LeBron James has continued to do everything for the Cavaliers, leading the team with 13 points while also recording nine rebounds and three assists. Tristan Thompson has also given Cleveland a big boost with seven points and seven rebounds.
Golden State Key Player:
The Warriors' starters have continued to struggle, but Andre Iguodala's 10 points, four rebounds, and four assists have played a big part in keeping them in this game.
Who Has The Edge?
The Cavs. Not only do they have home court advantage, but their defense is dictating the tempo of this game and has Golden State's offense totally out of whack.
