Cleveland Cavs: Mike Brown job depends upon improvement to offensive plan?

The Cleveland Cavs have a big decision to make about head coach Mike Brown this offseason, and one noted Cleveland writer thinks that his job depends upon having a clear plan to fix the offense.

According to Terry Pluto of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer, "Brown can talk about having a running team, but he needs to coach it. Maybe he does. Or maybe he needs to do so in a different way. But the Cavs ranked 22nd (98.2) in points. Even more discouraging, they ranked 27th (.437) in shooting percentage."

Pluto also notes that the Cleveland Cavs were in the bottom-third of the NBA in both fast break scoring (23rd) and fast break efficiency (21st) -- meaning that Mike Brown needs to structure a plan to get the team to create on the break, or risk losing his job to someone who can.

In summation, Pluto adds that "the question for Brown is this: Exactly what do you plan to do about the offense?"

Whether Brown has the answers or not remains to be seen.
