In today's look into the Cleveland Cavs, the rough rookie season for Cavs' #1 pick Anthony Bennett ended with a historic bit of punctuation.
Here's the lowdown from K.L. Chouinard of ESPN's TrueHoop Network:
Anthony Bennett is the first non-injured #1 overall pick to get 0 points in Rookie of the Year vote since it went to point system in 2003.

Anthony Bennett was besieged by injuries the entire year, coming into training camp overweight due to offseason shoulder surgery. He began to come around a little bit near the stretch run for the Cleveland Cavs, but fell victim to a strained left knee.
However, in the 52 games Bennett did play, things were bad on a historic scale for the Canadian export. His -1.5 Wins Above Replacement Players marks just the fourth time a #1 overall pick has posted a negative WARP -- tying Michael Olowokandi for the worst season ever by a former #1 pick.
Bennett vows to improve on his game this offseason, with a trip to the NBA's Summer League most likely in his future.
