Cavs Rumors Roundup: Kevin Love trade update, Price gets second interview

Leading off today's Cavs rumors roundup, the Cleveland Cavs may still be in on the Kevin Love sweepstakes after all.

Per Bob Evans of Buckeye State Sports, there is a list of several teams which could be putting together pitches to land Love before draft night. However, Evans sees the Cavs having a leg up on competition such as the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors:

The Cavaliers could seemingly offer a bigger package than most of the teams on this list depending on what Minnesota is looking to acquire. Armed with the No. 1 overall pick, the No. 33 overall pick and a number of young players and future picks, if the Timberwolves are looking to find another potential franchise player and have a quicker turnaround, the Cavaliers could offer them that opportunity.

The Cavs would be gambling that Love would be willing to re-sign with them after 2014-15, especially with conflicting reports emerging about Love's preference to not be dealt to Cleveland.

Either way, stay tuned.

Second interview for Mark Price

According to Sam Amick of USA Today, a favorite may be emerging to replace Mike Brown as the Cleveland Cavs' next head coach:

As Cavs' coaching search continues, I'm told they're strongly considering giving Charlotte assistant Mark Price a second interview this week

— Sam Amick (@sam_amick) June 16, 2014

Price spent nine years with the Cleveland Cavs, becoming one of the team's most popular players during his stay. His ties to the organization, background in player development, and assistant coaching experience may put him over the top when all is said and done.
