The Cleveland Cavs are in the market for a big man, and respected Cleveland sports columnist Terry Pluto believes they could very well take a look at New York Knicks center Samuel Dalembert:
I like Samuel Dalembert, the 7-footer with New York. He's 33, playing 17 minutes a game -- 3.8 points and 5.3 rebounds. Dalembert is a decent defender and a veteran who has legitimate center size. His contract is $3.8 million, so he's not a salary cap burden. Not sure what the price would be, but the Knicks are a mess and are expected to make some changes.

Dalembert has the body type and reputation as a rim protector that the Cavs are looking for, minus the salary and trade package costs that more-celebrated big men could incur.
While he's not exactly a defensive stalwart, his ability to plug up the lane against dribble and drive players would be a solid addition to the fray in Cleveland.
The 33-year-old Haitian-born center is averaging 4.0 points and 5.3 rebounds for the Knicks in 17 minutes per contest.
