Ray Allen hasn't ruled out a return to the NBA this season, but he has determined he won't sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers if he does return, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst.
Several teams around the league have been pursuing Allen at various points throughout the season, but Cleveland was always the favorite to land him because of his connection with LeBron James.
Now that almost three quarters of the season is in the books, there is growing believe in NBA circles that Allen won't return to the league this season.
The Atlanta Hawks, Golden State Warriors, Chicago Bulls, Washington Wizards, Memphis Grizzlies, and San Antonio Spurs have expressed interest in the 39-year-old.
Allen played in 73 games for the Miami Heat last season, averaging 9.6 points in 26.5 minutes per game while shooting 37.5% from long range.
