Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love missed Thursday's win over the Miami Heat to rest his sore back, but he is expected to start in Sunday's home game against Chicago, according to head coach David Blatt.
Love re-injured his back in last Sunday's win over the Philadelphia 76ers when he was inadvertently elbowed in the back, but sitting out gave him some much-needed rest.
"A lot of April, as far as the schedule goes, we have a few days in between games. For me, I haven't played a game, as of tomorrow, in a week. So yes, I'd probably say it's one of the best I've felt."
Love participated fully in Saturday's practice, showing he's ready to go against Chicago.
"Kev looked pretty good today," Blatt said following practice. "Hopefully in the morning he'll feel as well as he did today."
Love is averaging 16.5 points and 10.0 rebounds per game this season and leads the Cavs in double-doubles.
