The Cleveland Cavaliers have assigned guard Joe Harris to the Canton Charge, GM David Griffin announced today.
Harris has played in four games for the Charge this season, averaging 18.8 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 34.5 minutes per game, all of which have come on one-game assignments.
Harris has played in 36 games (one start) for the Cavs this season, averaging 2.8 points in 10.8 minutes per game.
Cleveland has gotten into the habit of assigning Harris to the Charge - the Cavaliers exclusively owned and operated NBA D-League team - for a game every so often so he can get playing time to develop his skills. Harris has fallen out of the rotation since the team acquired J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert from the New York Knicks.
