The Cleveland Cavs are four wins away from the franchise's first-ever NBA title, and while Cavs fans are elated about the prospects of a championship parade through Northeast Ohio, there's still plenty of worry to go around. Here's 6 Things All Cavs Fans Are Nervous About Heading Into The NBA Finals.
1. Steph Curry
If you're not worried about the 2014-15 NBA MVP and one of the greatest pure shooters to lace up a pair of sneakers, you haven't been paying attention. Curry can drop bombs from different zip codes. That's enough to bring about an eyebrow tic.
2. Kyrie Irving's Knee
Irving continues to soldier through his knee problems, but he remains questionable for Thursday's Game 1 in Oakland. He was able to practice on Sunday, but he still doesn't look like his explosive self just yet.
3. The Kevin Love Factor
If there's any series where the Cavs could have used Love's ability to stretch the floor, it's this one. The Warriors' Kryptonite is any big who can knock down shots all over the arc. It's just one less weapon the Cavs could have used to counteract the explosiveness of the Dubs.
4. The Supporting Cast
What happens if Kyrie Irving is limited or can't go for long stretches of this series. LeBron's capable of putting the team on his shoulders, but there's still questions abound over just who's going to be the second and third options behind him on any given night sans Kyrie.
5. Golden State's Defense
For all the attention the Warriors get for their fireworks on offense, the Warriors have the defense to match up with the Cavs' stellar lockdown work in this postseason. Golden State's 47% field goal percentage allowed in the regular season was #1 in the NBA, leading the likes of celebrated defensive units for the Bulls, Spurs and Grizzlies.
6. Oracle Arena
This is a matchup of two of the loudest in-arena fan bases in the history of ever. However, the Warriors have home-court advantage and a 39-2 home record in the regular season to show for just how disconcerting playing in front of those yellow-clad maniacs can be.
