The Cleveland Browns are 1-1 and their performances this season have been underwhelming. The offseason addition of Odell Beckham Jr., Olivier Vernon, Kareem Hunt, and others had expectations higher than almost any other season since the Browns returned to the city in 1999.
The Browns have been the tale of two franchises. The first of which had the likes of Jim Brown, Otto Graham, and eight NFL and All-America Football championships. But since their return in 1999, the Browns are 96-225-1. That’s a far cry from the historic franchise we used to know.
