If John Dorsey wants his first move as general manager to win over fans, then consider it a success. On Friday, the Cleveland Browns announced that WR Kenny Britt was waived, just one year in to his 4-year, $32.5 million deal with the team. Don’t worry, though — by cutting him, he only gets $10.5 million of that. It’s still a pretty penny considering his disastrous tenure with the team, but I can’t imagine anyone shedding a tear over the move.
Britt is the team’s second disastrous veteran free agent signing in the past, after WR Dwayne Bowe got away with making $9 million in 2015.
