The Cleveland Browns' recent draft history has been so bad that finding good classes forces a person to the history books. The 1978 draft produced LB Clay Matthews and TE Ozzie Newsome as the first two picks. In 1964, the Browns took Paul Warfield and Leroy Kelly, two Hall of Famers (though Warfield spent a good portion of his career in Miami). The 1957 draft produced Hall of Fame RB Jim Brown -- the greatest of all time (GOAT) -- and Hall of Fame OG Gene Hickerson. The choice between '64 and '57 is worthy of discussion, but Brown's presence tilts the field and makes 1957 the team's best draft class.
