The Cleveland Browns signed TE/FB Giovanni Ricci to a 1-year, $1,105,000 contract in March in order to help shore up the team's depth behind David Njoku. Earlier Saturday, we highlighted Ricci’s training camp battle with TE Treyton Welch in our “Fight Camp!” series.
It could be seen as one of the first signs of Ken Dorsey’s influence on the offensive side of the ball because he used a more traditional fullback/H-back in Buffalo from time to time.
Heading into training camp there were questions regarding the Browns’ playable depth behind Njoku and Jordan Akins.
