The 2024 NFL season kicks off tonight with stakes that also impact the AFC North in Week 1 as the Baltimore Ravens face off against the Kansas City Chiefs! It’s a re-match of the AFC Championship game last season, in which the Ravens were eliminated by a score of 17-10. That one was a low-scoring affair, but I’m expecting a little more offense this time around.
Both teams return with their core in tact. The Chiefs are looking to capture their third straight Super Bowl. Even though he may seem like a small part of the team, I’m intrigued by the speed of rookie WR Xavier Worthy and QB Patrick Mahomes’ ability to buy time and get him the ball, allowing Kansas City to stretch the field even more than they usually do.
