As ESPN recalls the halcyon (and wacky) days of NFL Europe, Cleveland Browns coach Hue Jackson remembers being a part of it -- in a way he'd rather forget.
Jackson caused an international incident at Heathrow Airport in 1991 when he left a DVD player in a suitcase in an airport gift shop. This was before the high-security times that followed 9-11, but in Europe an unattended package was serious cause for concern because the IRA was on a vicious bombing campaign in the city.
"They shut down half of the airport because of me," a wide-eyed Jackson said.
