TAMPA BAY, Florida – As the Browns players and coaches prepare for week 3 of the pre-season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Tampa Bay, the front office is very busy as well. In a mild surprise today, the Cleveland Browns traded away 2013 First round draft pick Barkevious Mingo to the Patriots in exchange for a 2017 fifth-round pick.
This ends a terrible stint in Cleveland for the undersized Mingo after being drafted 6th overall in the 2013 NFL Draft. He finishes his time with the Browns with a mild stat line of only 16 starts, 99 career tackles, seven sacks, one interception, 16 passes defensed and one fumble recovery.
