The Cleveland Browns waived Christian DiLauro to make room for offensive tackle Brad Seaton on its practice squad.
Seaton, a towering 6-foot-7, 310-pound tackle was a seventh-round selection by the Tennessee Titans in 2017, and then played on the team’s practice squad. He moved on Tampa Bay’s practice squad during last season, then spent this offseason and preseason with the Buccaneers before being waived during final roster cuts last weekend.
The Bronx, N.Y. native logged 30 left tackle starts at Villanova in 33 career games.
“Seaton isn’t a power player, but he appears to have enough natural core strength to project as a swing tackle best-suited to the right side,” NFL Network draft analyst Lance Zierlein’s draft profile on Seaton concluded.
