Headed into the 4th quarter against the Buffalo Bills, the Cleveland Browns had run 11 plays inside the Buffalo 5 yard line. Those 11 plays netted 0 points (a 27-yard Austin Seibert FG was kicked from the Buffalo 8 yard line after a false start moved the Browns back).
Misguided run plays combined with a lack of execution fed the Browns’ red zone woes, until Baker Mayfield finally found Rashard Higgins for a 7 yard TD and on the game-winning drive. I broke down a few of those red zone plays in the video below:
