CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Browns begin training camp on Thursday, the start of what the franchise hopes is a big step toward success in 2017.
It will also be one more step away from last season's 1-15 finish. The Browns have much to evaluate this season. There are three first-round draft picks, including No. 1 overall Myles Garrett. There's more competition at quarterback than last season. There's a revamped defense, led by new defensive coordinator Gregg Williams.
But what matters most to fans is how the team performs when the games count.
Here's the question: how will you know if the Browns are on course once the season is done?
