The NFL gets plenty of things right, especially regarding scheduling games.
Big matchups generally result in a primetime or late afternoon TV window for maximum exposure. Sure, the league overbuys on a few teams each season, which is why fans end up having to endure the New York Jets more than was humanely reasonable last season. But for the most part, the league does a good job.
However, Saturday was not one of those times, as the people in charge of such things decided it would be a wonderful idea to have the Cleveland Browns kick off their final preseason game at 10 p.
