CLEVELAND: The Browns received a physical beating worse than the final score of their 24-9 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers suggests.
The Steelers entered Sunday’s cold, windy game at FirstEnergy Stadium ranked last in the NFL with 13 sacks, but their pass rushers feasted on the Browns. The Steelers finished with eight sacks and 14 quarterback hits.
They also knocked Browns rookie quarterback Cody Kessler out of the game with his second concussion of the season late in the third quarter. He completed 7-of-14 passes for 128 yards with an interception for a rating of 52.1. He took four sacks.
