BEREA, Ohio -- Browns tight end Seth DeValve knew the feedback from the protest on Monday night involving more than a dozen Browns, most kneeling and praying during the national anthem, would be mixed. It is, as he pointed out, the same as it ever was.
"There's been lots of mixed opinions on this subject for hundreds of years," DeValve said on Wednesday, "so it's the same today."
DeValve, for his part, has tried to stay away from too much of the reaction. He said he's not a big social media use and his wife sneakily took away some of his phone access.
