A few random thoughts on Robert Griffin III's first meeting with the Cleveland media on Wednesday:
Words that should be forever banned in Cleveland: "(Insert name here) won the press conference." The Browns history since 1999 is replete with people who spoke adeptly. Go down the list. Mike Holmgren. Carmen Policy. Phil Savage. Coach after coach. Quarterback after quarterback. Trent Dilfer was insightful and moving when he was first introduced, and Johnny Manziel was masterful with the media. There have been gaffes, yes (Holmgren's playoff ticket remark always comes to mind), but in general talking well has not been the Browns problem.
