The Cleveland Browns are in need of help on the offensive line, but they will not be getting any help from the Washington Redskins. Washington has turned down Cleveland’s trade inquiries for left tackle Trent Williams and they will not be trading him this season, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
While meeting with the media on Wednesday, Browns general manager John Dorsey admitted he talked with Washington about a potential trade, which all signs point to Williams. But Dorsey said it takes “two to tango” to make a deal.
Although he has been sitting out for the entire season, Williams is the best offensive tackle who would make sense to be traded.
